For the first time ever, Direct Driller is going to be at the Cereals event 2024 and we cannot wait to see you there!
“Why is Direct Driller at Cereals this year?” you may ask. Because now more than ever, is the time where we can help you move forward, progress and be successful in the ever-evolving SFI regenerative agricultural journey, whilst generating profit for your farm business from right now and into the future.
Throughout the years of Direct Driller Magazine, we’ve been a part of the regenerative agriculture journey from day one and we’ve learnt so much along the way. Although we feel equipped and ready to jump on the regen train, so to speak, we have recognised that quite a lot of farmers out there still have plenty of questions and need our help so we’ve taken it upon ourselves to help you because we can! What better way to do this than to host our very own conference event within one of the biggest arable events of the year?
Farmers can claim the SFI payment of £73 a hectare for direct drilling their crops. On a 500 hectare farm this equates to £36,500 extra income per year, just by direct drilling your crops. If you aren’t direct drilling yet, there has never been a better time to start!
When is Cereals and what’s on in the Direct Driller area?
11 – 12 June 2024, Bygrave Woods and Newnham Farm
Conference Area
We will be delivering a new conference area with guest speakers specifically chosen by BASE UK talking about regenerative agriculture, what to expect from the Sustainable Farming Incentive with helpful tips about how to make your farm business profitable moving forward with the new incentive scheme.
Drill Arena
We will have a new drill arena showcasing 13 drills which are available on the farming market, right now. A live interview from the tractor cab will be taking place per showcase, giving you all the information you need to know about each drill on show!
VIP extras
VIP extras include an exclusive hospitality area and VIP parking too. The VIP parking will be located much closer to the entrance for ease of access in to Cereals and the hospitality area is overlooking the drill showcase arena for you to enjoy. Both VIP parking and the hospitality area is for Direct Driller ticket holders only.

“The changes introduced by SFI (Sustainable Farming Incentive) this year are compelling old and new farmers to embrace regenerative farming practices, and the driving force behind this shift is unmistakably profit.”
Chris Fellows, Direct Driller Magazine Issue 25 “Starting the regen journey”
“There are also wider benefits to networking with other farmers who are interested in similar subject areas. Regenerative farming is not black and white. Listening to different people will help you reach your own decisions on what’s right for your farm. The landscape is changing because of the way we are now being asked to farm. BPS payments will no longer exist soon and the SFI scheme will be in full flow. If you want to claim for this payment, you’ve got to have the latest knowledge of how to manage your farm in relation to being sustainable with regenerative practices. Direct Driller @Cereals is an exciting new venture to which we are sure will be beneficial to all Cereals attendees wanting to know more about this intricate subject.”
