We are the premier organisation, dedicated to promoting independent, farmer-led, regenerative agricultural knowledge across the UK.
Our mission is to enhance soil health, increase biodiversity, and support businesses by embracing sustainable farming practices that benefit both farmers and the environment.
There’s a lot happening across the BASE-UK community at the moment, and it’s a great time to be part of a network that brings farmers, researchers and others from across agriculture together to share ideas, experiences and knowledge.
2027 BASE-UK Annual Conference takes place on 10th and 11th February at the Delta Hotel by Marriott, Huntingdon, with the theme: Farming in the Extremes – Making the Best of your Natural Resources.
We have another great programme lined up, bringing together BASE-UK farmer members, researchers and speakers from across the UK and internationally.
This flagship event is unmissable and about much more than presentations. It’s two days of discussion and knowledge sharing with like-minded people – farmers comparing experiences, researchers sharing their latest findings, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions and continue conversations over dinner.
We are delighted that Tees Law is once again supporting the event. Their continued sponsorship has enabled us to hold conference ticket prices at last year’s rates.
If you’re already part of BASE-UK, we hope you’ll join us. If you haven’t been to our conferences before, this is a great opportunity to come along and find out what BASE-UK is all about.

Why be part of BASE-UK?
Being a BASE-UK member is about being part of a farmer-led network where knowledge is shared openly and conversations continue beyond the farm gate.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to farming, and that’s one of the things we value about BASE-UK. Our members farm in many different ways, but share a willingness to learn, question, experiment and share what they are finding.
If you’re not yet a member, we’d love you to join us and become part of the conversation.
